Projecten Rabbit Hole (2024)
In the interactive performance Rabbit Hole, the boundaries between online and offline blur, and the audience becomes part of Samy's chat forums through their phones.
Samy doesn't leave his room, no longer goes to school, and ignores his mother and sister. He has withdrawn into an online community, an escape from his daily reality of bullying, loneliness, and a broken family. Online, he makes new friends: Neo17 and his followers. His sister Hanna thinks they are misogynists, but according to Samy, they understand how things really are. And besides, aren't all of Hanna's leftist friends just as extreme? Hanna and Samy find themselves in direct opposition to each other.
